Nearly a year ago I went to Coachella and shot my third Super 8 film roll. Compared to the previous two, I am happier with these results as I felt more comfortable using the camera. After Coachella, I still had around a minute left on my film cartridge, which I later filled at the Pirate Palooza Claremont party.
Coachella was the first multi-day music festival I’ve been to. Capturing the experience of those three days was wonderful. And the lineup was crazy. Having a front row viewing of Danny Elfman singing This is Halloween was pure euphoria. The festival also made me a Billie Eilish fan. In this blog post I have included the Super 8 video I shot there along with a little gallery of pictures I took at the event. Coachella 2022 time capsule.
