Things in The Deep

Things in The Deep follows two engineers who investigate a mysterious breach in an underwater piping system. The film was shot in January of 2023 as part of a Virtual Production class at Chapman’s Dodge College. We used an LED wall and Unreal Engine along with a practical set of our steampunk submarine cockpit to bring this pulpy 4-minute film to life. I’m thankful to have gotten the privilege of producing this short, managing teams of animators, VFX artists, production designers and cinematographers to implement virtual production techniques; I am really happy with the film my wonderfully creative, and talented crew cooked up.
